Software developer with 10+ years of industry experience specializing in development and design of full stack applications, back-end server code, and database programming. Living in northeast USA.
Programming languages of interest include Common Lisp, Java, Bash, SQL, Javascript / Typescript, and others.
Experience with Spring Framework (including Spring Boot), AngularJS, ReactJS, Docker, Hibernate / JPA, Tomcat, Openstack, AWS, Git, Subversion, Emacs, IntelliJ and more.
Databases used include DynamoDB, Oracle, Informix, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, HyperSQL and SQLite.
Interests besides programming include reading, exercising (mild weight lifting and short to medium distance running), hiking, camping, and visiting used book stores.

Currently Solution Architect for two teams. Role responsibilities include designing, developing, leading, and mentoring through all aspects of software development life cycle.
- Responsible for client facing TriNet Platform web application serving 300K+ users.
- Designed next-generation Jobs Framework that processes millions of records per day and proven to enhance developer productivity.
- Responsible for accuracy of 1B+ records per year sent to government agencies and vendors on behalf of our clients.
- Lead role in many compliance projects (ACA, EEO, etc).
- Worked on numerous projects involving data migrations for new acquisitions.
- Developed EDI software for ANSI 5010 health eligibility files.

2009 — 2011
Worked with multiple clients creating full stack web applications.
- Designed, developed and maintained financial aid software systems for two US states.
- Used VB.NET and ASP.NET to develop the user interface and MS SQL Server for the database.
- Systems used by dozens of Agency users, hundreds of College Financial Aid administrators and a growing number of student users.
- Systems track every aspect of students Financial Aid info, including all FAFSA info, schools applied to, programs applied to, award history, eligibility, enrollment status, award amounts and more.
QA Software Automation Engineer, DeLorme (now Garmin)
2007 — 2009
Part of team involved in automated testing of mapping and GIS products.
- Developed automated software test plans for Xmap, Topo, and Street Atlas software products using SilkTest
- Created custom web applications for the QA department using ASP and SQL Server, including a hardware product defects tracker and a sample size calculator according to the Military Standard 105E
