It has been a while since I read a book cover to cover in a single day, but this is exactly what I did with Nicolas Darvas’s old book originally written some 50 years ago. I would not classify this book as a guide to trading stocks, but rather an inspirational story of the traumatic swings of stock trading. Nicolas’s covers his personal triumphs and break downs, starting as a mere tyro of the markets to developing his own personal style of trading that differs from the typical Wall Street broker. If you like rags to riches stories as much as I do, and have a inclining towards mathematics and statistics, then this book will not disappoint.
