The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason

A classic finance book written almost 100 years ago, The Richest Man in Babylon sets the foundation of financial books to come. It is filled with common sense advice which most of our population fails to follow. The book in written in entertaining parables set in the ancient city of Babylon, one of the first great cities of mankind.

The book is available freely online and therefore worth the read. I personally didn’t gain much from it, but every now and then it is best to review the basics if only to keep them in the forefront of your mind.
